The Rice Lake JB4SP and JB4SPT TuffSeal® Signal Trim Junction Boxes are specially designed to sum the outputs of up to four load cells, offering precision, protection, and expandability in modular scale systems. These junction boxes are ideal for use as sub-junction boxes in multiple load cell configurations for tank and hopper scales.
Constructed with a Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (FRP) enclosure, rated NEMA Type 4X, they are engineered to withstand harsh environments while protecting internal electronics from moisture and corrosion. The PreVent™ breather vent enhances this by eliminating condensation buildup inside the housing.
Each JB4SP or JB4SPT comes equipped with individual signal trimming, screwless spring clamp connectors, and a conformal coated circuit board, delivering long-term stability and accuracy. The inclusion of an expansion port makes them suitable for scalable installations, especially in industrial weighing environments.
